**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to end-users.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, customer-focused and has a strong analytical mindset. You will work closely with our team to resolve technical issues, manage requests and provide expert advice on hardware and software.
In this role, you will:
- Provide technical assistance to users on personal computer hardware and software.
- Manage assigned requests within our service desk system, ensuring tasks are completed by priority.
- Resolve user problems and queries in an effective and timely manner.
- Provide users with a professional service, ensuring requests are regularly updated and realistic resolution times are provided.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3-5 years of relevant IT support experience coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Strong technical knowledge of desktop hardware and software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good time management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple problems at once and prioritise issues.
- Strong knowledge of our Standard Operating Environment (SOE).
