Poultry Labourer Job Details

We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to fill this poultry operations role. The successful candidate will be physically fit, comfortable working with poultry, able to work on their feet for extended periods, and willing to adhere to strict compliance procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records within poultry operations and submit regular reports on bird health and performance metrics.
  • Adhere to workplace safety policies and contribute to a safe working environment by following established protocols.
  • Perform feeding, cleaning, and maintenance tasks to ensure efficient farm operations.
  • Follow biosecurity measures to prevent disease spread and participate in ongoing biosecurity training programs.
  • Meet Quarantine standards and follow shower procedures as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Be punctual and reliable in meeting job expectations.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels to achieve team goals.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation.
  • Have previous experience in hatchery or farm work (desired).
  • Be fit and healthy to perform the physical demands of the role.
