Midwife Unit Manager Role in Maternity Services

We are seeking an experienced Midwife Unit Manager to lead our team in providing high-quality maternity services at Latrobe Regional Hospital.
About the RoleThis is a part-time ongoing opportunity to join our dynamic Women's, Children and Birthing Unit. The successful candidate will provide clinical and administrative leadership, ensuring the achievement of quality patient outcomes and efficient workload management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and support to the midwifery team in achieving high-quality patient care
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in maternity services
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital coordinators, ANUMs, AMUMs, and the wider Thomson team
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years' clinical experience as a midwife
- RANZCOG - Fetal Surveillance Education Program (FSEP) accreditation
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
