Our Thomson unit is a dynamic maternity service, providing comprehensive care to women and newborns in Gippsland. As a Registered Midwife with Latrobe Regional Health (LRH), you will be part of a passionate and dedicated team that delivers exceptional patient outcomes.
Located 150 km east of Melbourne, our state-of-the-art facilities feature brand new ward areas, additional birth suites, and a Pregnancy Assessment Unit. We pride ourselves on providing flexible working hours, allowing you to enjoy the region's beautiful beaches, mountains, and lakes.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Midwife to join our team on a full time, part time, or casual basis. As a key member of our maternity team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients, ensuring excellent clinical outcomes and promoting a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Providing antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to patients
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality improvement initiatives
- Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
