About Our Maternity Service

We are seeking highly skilled Registered Midwives to join our dedicated team at Latrobe Regional Health, providing exceptional care to mothers and babies in our thriving maternity service.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of best practices in maternity care.

Job Overview:

This is a full-time/part-time/casual opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, where you can grow your career and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and their families
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, paediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in maternity care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery or Bachelor of Midwifery qualification
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
