The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Retail Customer Service Officer to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you'll play a vital role in helping Australians service their own businesses, keep millions of people connected, and build community resilience.

About You

You'll need to have experience in customer service and/or cash handling, be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly, and stand for your shift.

Your Responsibilities

- Perform customer sales and service transactions with customers
- Manage high-value transactions accurately (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS)
- Conduct and process identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews
- Promote our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising, and other promotional activities
- Assist customers with mail lodgements and associate costs
- Build rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs
- Assist with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance
