We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Community Engagement professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for building connections with the community, fostering awareness and participation in our services, and developing engagement strategies that drive growth.

Job Description:

As a Community Engagement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our reputation, expanding our network, and driving business development. You will be responsible for planning and executing engaging events, building partnerships with stakeholders, and communicating effectively with diverse groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies to support business growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including community leaders, partners, and clients
  • Plan and execute engaging events, workshops, and training sessions
  • Communicate effectively with diverse groups, using various channels and formats
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Community Development, PR/ Communications, Social Work, or related field
  • IAP2 Certificate of Engagement would be highly regarded
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in community engagement or outreach roles
  • Extensive knowledge of client aged care journey, including CHSP, Home Care Packages, and residential care
  • Proven presentation skills (in person and virtually)
  • Experience working with CALD groups, complex clients, and interpreters
  • High level of emotional intelligence
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate engagement outcomes
