Role Overview
As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a crucial role in driving financial accuracy and efficiency as a Group Accounts Payable Officer. This involves managing high-volume transactions, processing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and approve payments accurately, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Process stock and non-stock invoices on time, utilizing 3-way matching for payment accuracy.
- Efficiently handle high-volume manual invoices, maintaining a smooth workflow.
- Manage expense reports for out-of-pocket, petty cash, and corporate card claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Investigate and resolve EFT rejections, minimizing disruptions to payment processing.
- Reconcile supplier accounts by reviewing and verifying monthly statements.
- Address and resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders professionally and timely.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and compliance improvements, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with a thorough understanding of financial processes.
- Proficiency in using large ERP systems, such as SAP, to streamline accounts payable operations.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, with experience in complex data analysis and reporting.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
- High adaptability, proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Solid data entry and administrative skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with ability to resolve issues and recommend improvements.
Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
