About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Facilities Coordinator to join our team at Prouds The Jewellers.

This is a newly created role that requires someone with a deep understanding of retail environments and the ability to maintain facilities in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our stores and support office are safe, well-maintained, and enjoyable for our customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support store teams with scheduling essential repairs and routine maintenance
  • Source and manage relationships with local maintenance contractors for various services
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for support office facility-related inquiries
  • Coordinate in-store music systems and conduct regular reviews of repair and maintenance expenses
  • Oversee daily and seasonal cleaning schedules for the Support Office facilities
  • Coordinate the maintenance of lighting, HVAC, and lift systems
  • Ensure all electrical equipment is tested and tagged in compliance with legislative requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to maintain high accuracy while multitasking effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear stakeholder interactions
  • Experience thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a quick response to change
  • Highly organised and deadline-driven, demonstrating a proactive approach to task management
  • Strong computer literacy with intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • High level of professionalism and work ethic, consistently delivering quality results
