Maintenance Operations Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of all data within our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and its effective use to drive high efficiency and effectiveness across the maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze data and provide insights to enhance maintenance performance, incorporating feedback from regular meetings
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date plant information in CMMS, conduct Root Cause Analysis tasks, and develop audited bills of materials
  • Develop annual equipment overhaul schedules, manage requests and spare parts, and forecast maintenance workloads
  • Collaborate with the team to eliminate recurring issues, monitor performance through CMMS, and identify areas for improvement
  • Schedule safety activities, conduct checks, comply with policies, and actively participate in health and safety discussions
  • Lead weekly planning meetings, contribute to strategic budget planning, and foster a proactive approach to maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with food safety policies and procedures, and support external quality audits
Requirements:
  • A trade background with experience in supply chain planning is essential
  • A solid understanding of Occupational Health and Safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols is required
  • Relevant industry experience, particularly in food manufacturing within the FMCG sector or baking/food/biscuit industry, is highly desirable
  • An understanding of food safety practices and standards is necessary
  • Proficiency in computing skills, including SAP and PC Mait, is advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for success in this role
