About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Administrator to join our Parklife Metro JV team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing contractual management and administration of Project contracts to ensure risks are minimised and best for the project/business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Contract Manager/Upstream Contracts Manager in the preparation of monthly reports, Client correspondence, Contract Variations and various Main Contract and Subcontract issues
  • Manage contractual claims and final accounts, ensuring timely payments
  • Manage contractual issues associated with client / subcontractors/suppliers and provide advice to delivery and management teams on contractual issues
  • Manage the compilation and collation of cost related information and reports
  • Analyse financial and costs reports, identifying existing or potential variances/trends, providing recommendations as appropriate for agreement with the department
  • Gathering and communicating necessary information to team members about current status of team tasks, utilising the Projects IT software
  • Minimise Project risk exposure to claims (EOTs, variations, SOPA)
  • Ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time
  • Undertake works in a manner that is consistent with the overall Project goals and meets the timeframes specified in the Project schedule
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Business, Commerce, Engineering, Law etc) or equivalent relevant experience
  • White Card
  • Comprehensive experience and knowledge of the commercial management and governance requirements of major infrastructure projects
  • 2-5 years' experience in contracts administration of civil infrastructure projects or equivalent
  • Well-developed knowledge of the principles and practices of contract and commercial/finance management
  • Ability to understand and articulate contractual rights and positions
  • Sound negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Initiative and proactive nature
  • Key collaborative skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Exceptional knowledge and ability in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
About Parklife Metro

Parklife Metro JV is leading a transformative Metro project connecting St Marys to Bradfield, linking with the new Western Sydney Airport that is currently under construction.

This joint venture with Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild aims to deliver 6 new stations, 12 metro trains, core rail systems, and a state-of-the-art stabling and maintenance facility at Orchard Hills.
