Key Responsibilities
  1. Draft, review, and negotiate contractual details, including specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules, ensuring seamless project execution.
  2. Prepare and issue contract change proposals and amendments, maintaining accurate records and version control.
  3. Participate in preconstruction activities, providing valuable insights and expertise during the planning stages.
  4. Respond to customer requests for proposals and prepare RFTs for potential subcontractors, promoting effective communication.
  5. Monitor compliance with contract requirements, ensuring all conditions are met and project targets are achieved.
  6. Manage subcontractors to guarantee timely project completion and key milestones are met.
  7. Estimate variations and prepare relevant documentation for approval, maintaining transparency and efficiency.
  8. Maintain accurate records of all contract correspondence using Procore software, streamlining project administration.
  9. Conduct meetings with contractors regarding contractual issues, as requested by the Project Manager, fostering collaboration and resolving disputes effectively.
  10. Prepare reports and presentations for management and clients detailing project status, expenditures, and progress, enhancing stakeholder understanding.
  11. Review trade compliance agreements and assist in planning equipment and resource requirements for projects, ensuring regulatory adherence.
  12. Evaluate and report any changes to project schedules, updating timelines accordingly, guaranteeing flexibility and adaptability.
Qualifications and Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 4 years experience as a Contracts Administrator in the Australian fitout/refurb/new build construction sector.
  3. Strong understanding of contract law and excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and negotiation.
  4. Proficiency in contract management software (Procore experience preferred), streamlining project administration.
