About the Role

At Atwea College, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development and Stakeholder Engagement Manager to join our team. This is a pivotal role that will drive the growth and development of our organization through targeted programs, grant acquisition, marketing strategy, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies that align with the organization's objectives, focusing on programs, funding, and grants to enhance our educational services.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with government entities, agencies, community leaders, and influential groups to drive the organization's mission forward.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for enhanced brand positioning, new program development, and potential funding sources.
  • Research and identify grants and funding opportunities that align with the organization's mission and strategic goals.
  • Write and submit compelling grant proposals and funding applications to secure financial support for programs and initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery of stakeholder engagement initiatives, marketing strategies, and other key deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver an efficient and effective marketing interface that meets the needs of internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Social Planning/Community Development, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, project management, or a related role, preferably within the education, training (RTO), or not-for-profit sector.
  • Proven experience leading people through change.
  • Excellent working knowledge of stakeholder engagement theory and practice.
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing theory and practice.
  • Valid NSW Working With Children Check and current National Criminal Police Record Check prior to commencement of employment.
  • Child Protection Training and other ongoing legislative training as required.
  • Driver's License.
