We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Housing Services to lead our Housing Services Division in NSW Department of Communities and Justice.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the district's housing service delivery functions, ensuring that housing clients receive timely assessment and integrated housing assistance and services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Service Delivery: Develop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery, improve outcomes for clients, and increase efficiency.
  2. Manage Risk: Identify and mitigate risks associated with service delivery, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  3. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Build and maintain relationships with government departments, NGOs, and community groups to enhance service delivery and support community initiatives.
  4. Drive Reform: Develop and implement reforms to enhance risk management and performance of services, ensuring they are responsive to the needs of social housing clients and vulnerable communities.
  5. Deliver Tenant Engagement: Coordinate with the Housing Portfolio to deliver tenant engagement initiatives, improving outcomes for clients and enhancing service delivery.
  6. Manage Financial Resources: Develop and manage financial budgets, forecasting local demand for services and allocating resources effectively.
