About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of Engineers Australia and make a meaningful impact on the engineering profession.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing an activity plan to boost EA's impact and brand through local school engagement, engineer recognition, and media activities.
  • Foster partnerships with key stakeholders to expand EA's profile across various sectors.
  • Lead and coordinate STEM outreach programs locally.
  • Collaborate with the Professional Development and Engineering Talent teams on local events.
  • Serve as an ambassador for EA, participating in events and supporting volunteers.
  • Support the Division General Manager in office administration and other duties as required.
Requirements
  • You excel at building relationships with a diverse range of people, both within the organization and externally.
  • You are confident in delivering and hosting meetings and events.
  • You collaborate effectively across teams, even without direct authority.
  • You take initiative and are highly accountable, efficiently organizing and prioritizing tasks to deliver results while managing multiple responsibilities.
  • You possess strong written and verbal communication abilities, delivering messages with enthusiasm and energy.
  • You either bring or are eager to develop a working knowledge of non-technical engineering matters.
