
Senior Scheduling Coordinator

The role of Steel Scheduler is a senior position within the scheduling team, working with a respected name in the construction supply industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret construction drawings to create accurate bar lists and schedules
- Liaise with builders, engineers, and site contacts to confirm requirements and changes
- Manage updates, RFIs, and variations
- Communicate directly with internal teams: production, logistics, sales, dispatch
- Maintain clear records of drawings, forecasts, and revisions
- Provide regular updates to customers on progress, delivery, and lead times
- Use scheduling software to ensure steel is scheduled and produced to spec, on time and to plan
Required Skills and Experience:
- Scheduling, Detailing, or Drafting experience
- Post-tension slab construction knowledge
- Structural steel or rebar experience for residential or commercial builds
A strong candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a similar role, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work under pressure while managing shifting priorities.
