The role of Steel Scheduler is a senior position within the scheduling team, working with a respected name in the construction supply industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret construction drawings to create accurate bar lists and schedules
  • Liaise with builders, engineers, and site contacts to confirm requirements and changes
  • Manage updates, RFIs, and variations
  • Communicate directly with internal teams: production, logistics, sales, dispatch
  • Maintain clear records of drawings, forecasts, and revisions
  • Provide regular updates to customers on progress, delivery, and lead times
  • Use scheduling software to ensure steel is scheduled and produced to spec, on time and to plan

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Scheduling, Detailing, or Drafting experience
  • Post-tension slab construction knowledge
  • Structural steel or rebar experience for residential or commercial builds

A strong candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a similar role, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work under pressure while managing shifting priorities.
