The Opportunity

Cromarty Automation is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team.

The primary purpose of the role is to oversee the delivery of our services and products to our clients and ensure an exceptional level of service and quality.

The Engineering Manager will manage the team's workload through stewardship of current projects, provide mentoring and advice to others, and participate in the delivery of technical work as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or relevant training and experience
  • 10 plus years' relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team, coordinating the delivery of high-quality engineering work
  • Strong safety leadership by adhering to and promoting all Cromarty Automation safety policies and procedures
  • Commitment to high-quality service and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Maintain professional currency by staying abreast of current Electrical/Automation engineering best practice

Desirable Skills

  • Relevant project management experience and methodologies
  • Industrial/manufacturing environment experience
  • Low voltage electrical design
  • PLC, RTU & VFD experience
  • SCADA system knowledge/experience
