About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Management Office Controller to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our IT Project Management Office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Governance: Ensure that all projects within the PMO are managed in accordance with our enterprise processes and governance framework.
  • Portfolio Management: Assist with the management of our IT portfolio, ensuring that all projects are aligned with our strategic objectives.
  • Project Support: Provide support to project managers throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain accurate reports on project status, risk, and issues, providing insights to stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Facilitate cost risk assessments and produce reports to inform decision-making.
  • Issue Management: Assist in the identification, assessment, and mitigation of issues and opportunities.
  • Change Management: Support the assessment and management of change requests, ensuring minimal disruption to projects.
  • Interface with Global IT: Collaborate with our global IT organization to ensure alignment and consistency in project management practices.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Assist with the budgeting process, including the development of IT CAPX budgets and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations are managed.
About You

We are looking for a professional with a strong focus on delivery, who has a track-record of supporting the adoption and improvement of project governance, processes, and documents. You should have a good understanding of ITIL v3 Foundation and PRINCE, with certification in one or more of the following: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, or Continual Service Improvement. Practical knowledge of methodologies and frameworks such as Lean, six-sigma, Agile, and PMI-ACP is also desirable.

You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience with Microsoft 365, particularly MS Teams, is an advantage, as is knowledge of MS Project.
