About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Management Office Controller to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our IT Project Management Office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Governance: Ensure that all projects within the PMO are managed in accordance with our enterprise processes and governance framework.
  • Portfolio Management: Assist with the management of our IT portfolio, ensuring that all projects are aligned with our strategic objectives.
  • Project Support: Provide support to project managers throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain accurate reports on project status, risk, and issues, providing insights to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Cost and Risk Management: Facilitate cost and risk assessments, and develop reports to inform decision-making.
  • Issue and Opportunity Management: Assist in the identification, assessment, and mitigation of issues and opportunities that may impact project delivery.
  • Risk Management: Support the development of a live risk register and ensure that all risks are properly assessed and mitigated.
  • Interface with Global IT: Collaborate with our global IT organization to ensure alignment and consistency in project management practices.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Assist with the budgeting process, including the development of IT CAPX budgets and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to ensure that their needs are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.
About You

We are looking for a professional with a strong focus on delivery, who has a track-record of supporting the adoption and improvement of project governance, processes, and documents. You should have a good understanding of ITIL v3 Foundation and PRINCE2, and be familiar with methodologies and frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail, are essential for this role.
