The role involves being part of a team that is responsible for delivering ERP transformation in Defence. As an expert, you will be exposed to various changes required to successfully deliver the ERP program.

Key responsibilities include managing CIOG business readiness functions including schedule, risk/issues management, and role mapping activities related to both ERP and broader Transformation Program initiatives using Project Management principles.

To excel in this position, you should have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical and non-technical information to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a small team, manage competing priorities, and deliver positive transformation outcomes.
  • Energy and enthusiasm in approaching the job and working well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management understanding including active management of risks/issues, project status reporting, and kanban board.

About Our Team

The team is highly motivated and focused on delivering the ERP transformation in Defence. You will be immersed in internal operations of CIOG and provided with an opportunity to influence new ways of working through business readiness activities required for the ERP Program.

ERP will introduce new concepts in human resources, procurement, finance, case management, supply chain management, and military planning and operations. Simplified end-to-end processes are key to success in this role. Extensive stakeholder engagement and knowledge management are essential, and you will build extensive working relationships across CIOG and the broader Defence.

  • High level interpersonal and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to changing complex situations and uncertainty.
  • Comfort and confidence in taking ownership of outcomes and leading tasks to completion and success.
  • Ability to manage and interpret large volumes of data and undertake remediation activities in accordance with Program timeframes.
