Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

The Royal Australian Navy is seeking a highly organized and detail-focused individual to fill the role of Supply Chain Coordinator in our Defence team.

  • This position plays a vital part in ensuring operational readiness by providing efficient and accurate support in the management of Defence inventory, equipment, and stores.
About the Role:

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Assisting with the Assembly Parts List (APL) and Outfit Allowance List (OAL) validation and Approval process;
  2. Conducting ERP Material Master Data Management activities;
  3. Coordinating the Receipt and verification of Store Room Items, OAL, and Depot spares from contractors;
  4. Developing and actioning Logistics Reports;
  5. Overseeing the OAL/APL MC Catalogue codification requests to the National Codification Bureau;
  6. Ensuring LIMS/ERP entry accuracy;
  7. Providing guidance and mentoring to Project team members, including APS & ADF where applicable.
Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Defence Logistics, warehousing, or Inventory Management (MILIS or ERP);
  • Familiarity with Defence Supply Chain systems and security protocols;
  • Strong Organizational and time-management skills;
  • High attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
