Child Health Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Child Health Nurse to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress. The successful candidate will provide high-quality child health services to Aboriginal children aged 0-5 years and their families.
About the RoleThe Child Health & Engagement Section provides integrated, holistic, and coordinated services for Aboriginal children. As a Child Health Nurse, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based child health services, including child health assessments, immunisations, and developmental screening.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide child health assessments and developmental screenings to identify potential health issues.
- Administer vaccinations and maintain accurate immunisation records.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans to support children's health and development.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current AHPRA registration with a minimum of five years' clinical practice.
- Expert knowledge of the NT vaccination schedule and childhood immunisations.
- Working knowledge of child health and an understanding of current practices, theories, and values.
- Knowledge of child development and how it relates to Aboriginal children in Central Australia.
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
- Base salary: $103,759 - $110,838 per annum.
- Total effective package: $126,455 - $134,420 per annum (including district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax savings).
