We are seeking a highly skilled Child Health Nurse to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Aboriginal Corporation.

About the Role

As a Child Health Nurse, you will be working in our Child Health & Engagement team, providing integrated, holistic and coordinated services for Aboriginal children aged 0-5 years, and their families. This role requires you to work with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals to provide evidence-based child health services to children including child health assessments, immunisations and developmental screening.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of Indigenous children and families, and will be passionate about delivering high-quality care that is culturally sensitive and responsive.

About You
  • You will have current AHPRA registration with a minimum of five years clinical practice.
  • You will possess expert knowledge of the NT vaccination schedule in relation to childhood immunisations, and be accredited to provide immunisation or willing to undertake accreditation.
  • You will have a working knowledge of Child Health and an understanding of current practices, theories and values.
  • You will also have knowledge of child development and how it relates to Aboriginal children in Central Australia.

Salary and Benefits

This full-time role comes with a competitive salary package, including:

  • A base salary of $103,759 - $110,838 per annum.
  • District allowance.
  • Superannuation.
  • Leave loading.
