Job Title: Freight Movement Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Freight Movement Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and tracking inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely processing and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments, including Dangerous Goods (DG) handling knowledge and commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
  • Accurately enter data for orders, receipts, and consignments using internal systems.
  • Generate and manage shipping documentation, including labels, packing lists, and consignment notes.
  • Support inventory control through stock counts, discrepancy investigations, and reconciliations.
  • Liaise with carriers for freight bookings, monitor delivery performance, and resolve transport-related issues.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, or 3PL coordination with strong operational understanding.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experienced in warehouse systems like SAP or CargoWise One.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
