Wellbeing Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at Wagga Wagga Community Aged Care. As a key member of our Lifestyle team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and delivering dynamic wellbeing programs that promote the physical and emotional wellbeing of our residents.

About the Role:

  • Lead the Wellbeing team to develop and implement resident-centred wellbeing programs
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to resident care
  • Design and deliver engaging activities that promote social interaction, physical activity, and emotional wellbeing
  • Work closely with residents, families, and staff to understand their needs and preferences
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Lifestyle (or diversional therapy), or progress towards qualification
  • Ability to be creative, compassionate, and supportive in providing Lifestyle programs
  • Understanding and empathetic qualities
  • Organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and lead by example
