Wellbeing Program Coordinator

We are seeking a Wellbeing Program Coordinator to join our team at Wagga Wagga Community Aged Care. As a key member of our Wellbeing team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and delivering varied resident wellbeing programs.

The successful candidate will have a qualification in Lifestyle (or diversional therapy), or be progressing towards qualification. They will also possess the ability to be creative, compassionate, and supportive in providing Lifestyle programs for our residents.

The ideal candidate will have organisation and time management skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team and lead by example. They will also be able to accept the many differences our multi-cultural community may embrace and help maintain each resident's dignity and preferences.

As a Wellbeing Program Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our residents, staff, and families to create a positive and supportive environment. You will also be responsible for leading the Wellbeing team to plan, design, and deliver wellbeing programs that meet the needs of our residents.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and designing wellbeing programs for residents
  • Leading the Wellbeing team to deliver wellbeing programs
  • Working closely with residents, staff, and families to create a positive and supportive environment
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with external providers and partners
  • Providing support and guidance to staff members

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Lifestyle (or diversional therapy), or progressing towards qualification
  • Ability to be creative, compassionate, and supportive in providing Lifestyle programs for residents
  • Organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and lead by example
  • Ability to accept the many differences our multi-cultural community may embrace and help maintain each resident's dignity and preferences
