
LGBTQ+ Disability Health Advocate

We are seeking a Community Health Promotion Officer to join our team in Sydney.
This role will involve promoting the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ people with disability.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Lived experience of disability or experience working with people with disability and knowledge of the issues faced by LGBTQ+ individuals living with disabilities.
- Demonstrated understanding of project development, implementation, and evaluation through experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Delivering training or adult education or project design and implementation.
- Direct client work with individuals who are living with disability and/or their families/carers.
- Group facilitation and consultation experience.
The successful candidate will have strong administration and organisational skills, including computer literacy and social media capability.
They will also have high level written and oral communication skills, including negotiation with stakeholders and document production.
You will have the opportunity to work in a colourful and fun workplace with flexible working arrangements and learning opportunities.
The remuneration for this position is $72,707 to $77,758 per annum (gross FTE), plus superannuation and leave loading.
