Your New Role at Port KemblaWe are seeking an experienced Field Service Mechanic to join our team at Port Kembla. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our hire equipment and machinery on customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct safe, effective, and efficient preventative maintenance, service, and overhaul as required.
- Deliver a high level of trust and commitment to our customers, ensuring Coates Hire is their preferred supplier for projects.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across a range of equipment, including access equipment, EWPs, compaction, excavators, compressors, and light towers.
- Ensure stock levels of spare parts are available to undertake repairs on site.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Relevant trade qualifications.
- Experience working with petrol and diesel motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical skills.
- Effective time management and attention to detail.
- Troubleshooting, diagnostic, and preventative maintenance skills.
- A strong commitment to safety.
