We offer an attractive salary package, estimated at $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Port Kembla. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy industrial and commercial waste vehicles, plant, and equipment.

  • You will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing VES vehicles to meet operational needs and deadlines.
  • Ensuring all vehicles operate at maximum efficiency and comply with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Complete scheduled daily work tasks as directed by the Supervisor/Manager in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Collaborating with team members and assisting in the development of apprentices.
  • Completing accurate documentation and adhering to administrative procedures.
  • Promoting and driving Veolia's 'Always Safe' safety culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Heavy Vehicle/Heavy Machinery Mechanic trade qualification.
  • Previous experience servicing heavy vehicles.
  • A strong safety focus with a proactive approach to improving safety and risk management.
  • A Heavy Rigid Licence.
