About the Opportunity

This is a 12-month secondment opportunity to support the Advocacy and Impact Leadership (A&I) Team as an Operations Manager. You will provide strategic and operational support to help build a high-performing, efficient, and well-governed team that manages risk effectively.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as business manager for the A&I team, supporting the EGM and building strong relationships across the organisation and with key stakeholders.
  • Support regular reporting to senior leaders, including the Chief, People and Impact, and various executive committees and the Board.
  • Keep the Advocacy and Impact portfolio up-to-date, tracking key deliverables and informing leadership of progress.
  • Provide strategic planning, financial oversight, and operational support to manage risk and deliver high-quality advocacy aligned with our 2030 ambition.
  • Lead initiatives to improve advisory services, streamlining processes, solving operational challenges, and ensuring focus on high-value work.
  • Plan and coordinate team activities, such as meetings or offsites.

You'll be working closely with the Executive General Manager (EGM), Advocacy and Impact, to drive outcomes and ensure the Advocacy and Impact function continues to support the broader organisation, our board, members, and stakeholders.

About you

We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, able to pick up problems quickly and come up with creative solutions. It would be great if you have experience in preparing and delivering executive-level reporting, stakeholder engagement, relationship management, operational efficiency improvements, and financial management.
