
Tenancy Care Specialist

This position serves as the primary point of contact for tenants, ensuring a positive customer experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for addressing day-to-day tenancy matters promptly and supporting tenants to access services that promote their health, wellbeing, and tenancy sustainability.
About the RoleKey responsibilities include proactive management of property care, tenant arrears, and debt, as well as anti-social behaviour. Regular home visits will be conducted to foster tenant engagement and support tenancy stability.
Collaboration with support coordinators, Connecting Communities teams, and external partners is essential to driving positive outcomes for tenants and social housing communities.
Main Responsibilities- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with tenants to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues related to property care, tenant arrears, and debt, as well as anti-social behaviour.
- Conduct regular home visits to engage with tenants and promote tenancy stability.
- Cultivate partnerships with support coordinators, Connecting Communities teams, and external partners to drive improved tenant outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations, including vulnerable groups.
- Background in property management within real estate, public, or community housing sectors.
- Knowledge of NSW Residential Tenancies Act 2010.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate a self-motivated learning mindset.
