About the Role

Are you a skilled culinary professional looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking an Executive Culinary Supervisor to join our team and oversee kitchen operations, lead by example, and provide guidance to junior staff members.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing guest service effectiveness, team performance, and service improvements.
  • Oversee multiple stations by supervising and leading by example.
  • Train and coach commis chefs, guiding them to perform kitchen operations efficiently.
  • Evaluate compliance with HACCP standards by conducting daily monitoring and walkthroughs of the back of house.
  • Review stocktake daily and ensure timely orders are placed and stock received.

Requirements

  • Solid experience as a Jr Sous/Chef and relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
  • Experience working in high-end culinary operations with wood-fire cooking.
  • Strong understanding of produce, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to commit to 40 hours per week working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
