The Role

Due to growth and expansion, we are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our high-performing team in Kotara, NSW.

As a key member of our team, you will use your industry knowledge and skills to guide and manage clients' journeys as they return to daily life after a psychological injury.

You will foster collaboration and partnerships with clients, employers, and stakeholders to achieve desired goals through a holistic approach to rehabilitation.

  • Managing complex physical and psychological injury cases by providing health coaching, career coaching, and return-to-work support.
  • Conducting vocational assessments both in-person and virtually to identify suitable solutions.
  • Developing and maintaining strong employer relationships within NSW to facilitate successful client outcomes.
  • Utilizing award-winning psychosocial risk assessment tools to drive exceptional results.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, Provisional Psychology or Psychology.
  • Eligibility for registration with ASORC, AASW or APHRA.
  • Experience working in a similar role within the Occupational Rehabilitation sector is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a high-performance driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation and consultation skills, and the capacity to establish and sustain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Attention to detail with a result-focused approach.
  • Organizational skills and ability to successfully manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative.
  • Well-developed research skills and ability to prepare, collate, and organize data for reporting purposes.
  • Ability to follow administrative procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Current Australian driver's license.
  • Police clearance and Working with Children Check.
