Job Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to manage leasing matters across Australia and New Zealand, providing commercial advice that supports the business growth strategy.

This role will focus on delivering expert leasing services, working closely with cross-functional teams including property, commercial, and executive departments.

Key Requirements and Skills
  • Ideal candidate: junior-mid level lawyer with strong retail leasing law experience in private practice and/or in-house settings
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and draft retail leasing documentation with precision and commercial awareness
  • Sound knowledge of relevant property legislation, including the Retail Leases Act and other state-based leasing frameworks
  • Proven track record in managing multiple matters simultaneously in a fast-paced commercial environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business units
  • Admission as a legal practitioner in Australia with at least 3–6 years of post-qualification experience
