Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Threat Analyst to join our team at Control Risks. As a key member of our intelligence team, you will be responsible for conducting research on open sources and deep web venues to produce high-quality written analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct manual and automated searches to identify threats against our clients and assess their credibility.
  • Produce bespoke written analysis to contextualize and assess the threats faced by our clients.
  • Research new sources of information and develop capabilities to collect and analyze data in support of the team's mission.

Consulting Responsibilities

  • Support the review and delivery of written bespoke work.
  • Communicate effectively to direct intelligence collection and enhance the quality of final deliverables.

Requirements

  • Possess practical knowledge of open-source intelligence collection and threat analysis.
  • Able to prepare written reports with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing time efficiently to meet client deadlines.
  • Experience in directing, collecting, and analyzing information to produce timely and actionable intelligence.
  • Demonstrate clear communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to make sound judgments and use knowledge and experience to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent time management and written communication skills.

Qualifications and Specialist Skills

  • Degree-level qualification.
  • Open-source intelligence qualifications.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (Chinese) Language.

About You

You have a strong background in cyber threat analysis and a passion for staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies. You are an excellent communicator with a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and professional development opportunities.
