Cyber Threat Analyst Position

Cuscal Limited, a leading player in the rapidly evolving world of payments, is seeking an experienced Cyber Threat Detection & Response Analyst to safeguard its digital assets and ensure the resilience of its systems against cyberattacks.
This critical role involves utilizing advanced threat detection techniques and tools to detect, investigate, and mitigate potential security incidents, collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide timely responses to emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor Security Alerts and Events: Utilize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools, and other detection technologies to monitor security alerts and events.
- Proactive Threat Hunting: Conduct proactive threat hunting activities to identify suspicious activity within the environment.
- Threat Analysis and Intelligence: Analyse network traffic and system logs to identify patterns, trends, and potential threats, and utilize threat intelligence feeds to stay updated on the latest attack techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs) used by threat actors.
- Incident Response: Respond to security incidents by conducting thorough investigations and coordinating with relevant teams for remediation, containment, eradication, and recovery actions to minimize the impact of security incidents.
- 5+ Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat detection, incident response, and threat intelligence.
- Strong Technical Skills: Strong understanding of security principles, authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms, as well as expertise with security monitoring and incident response tools.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven experience leading high-severity incident responses in a fast-paced environment and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
