Cyber Threat Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Threat Detection Analyst to join our team at Zone IT Solutions. As a Threat Detection Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and responding to potential cyber threats and incidents.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor network and system logs to detect and investigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Analyze and interpret security data to identify patterns and trends, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner, and take appropriate actions to contain and remediate threats.
- Conduct forensic analysis on compromised systems to identify the extent of the breach and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement threat detection strategies and procedures to enhance the security posture of our organization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security threats and technologies, and share knowledge with the team to improve our incident response capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience in threat detection or a related role, with a strong understanding of security protocols and tools.
- Experience with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) platforms, and a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security measures and incident response capabilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CEH) are preferred but not required.
