Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

Overview

The Positive Behaviour Support division is expanding its team, seeking a dedicated professional to join our national group.

You will work across various services, including early intervention, school age, adolescent, and adult services, providing clinical support to individuals with diverse presentations and disabilities.

Responsibilities include assessing and observing participants' challenging behaviours, developing and implementing PBS plans, and working collaboratively with allied health practitioners, support workers, and family members to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will have the opportunity to be trained in specific psychological assessments, such as Autism and ADHD, and work closely with clients over an extended period to celebrate their achievements and progress.

Qualifications

  • NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner (or ability to become registered)
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Psychology, Counselling, BCBA, Teaching, Social Work, etc.)
  • Experience working with complex diagnoses and autism spectrum disorder (desirable)
  • Car and license required for travel
  • National Police Clearance, Working With Children, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain before commencement
