
Clinical Behavioural Specialist

We are seeking a skilled clinician to join our team as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical services to clients with various presentations, diagnoses and disability types.
The role involves working closely with allied health practitioners, support workers and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. This includes assessing and observing participants' challenging behaviours, developing plans to increase skills, improve emotion regulation and reduce restrictive practices.

Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical services to clients with various presentations, diagnoses and disability types
- Work collaboratively with allied health practitioners, support workers and family members to achieve optimal outcomes
- Assess and observe participants' challenging behaviours and develop strategies to address them
- Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support plans to increase skills, improve emotion regulation and reduce restrictive practices
- Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or related field
- NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner (or ability to become registered)
- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability and other complex diagnoses
- A car and licence
- National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
