Home Care Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Professional to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

This rewarding role involves providing personal care, domestic assistance, and social support to individuals who require help with daily living tasks. You will work collaboratively as part of a flexible team to deliver exceptional care services that meet the unique needs of each client.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to delivering compassionate and empathetic care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including showering, grooming, dressing, and medication management
  • Offer domestic support, such as cooking, cleaning, and household tasks, tailored to meet individual client needs
  • Assist with social support, transport clients to appointments, shopping or community outings, and engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional wellbeing
  • Monitor and report changes in health and wellbeing, ensuring prompt attention from medical professionals when required
Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification
  • HLTHPS006 – Assist Clients with Medication, HLTAAP001 – Recognise Healthy Body Systems, CHCCCS031 – Provide Individualised Support, and First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle, with reimbursement provided for mileage expenses
