About the Role

The State Government of Victoria, Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Remand Program Facilitator. This is a full-time opportunity that will run until 30th June 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of the suite of Remand Programs, including ATLAS, at the prison location, both individually and in conjunction with service delivery providers, including co-facilitation with stakeholders and partners.
  • Consult and liaise with Prison staff, Vocational Services, and contracted program providers in relation to program delivery requirements, service linkage, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Monitor program referrals to ensure adherence to the remand service delivery model.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision, as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the issues and the diverse needs of the remanded male prisoner population.
  • Experience preparing, planning, and delivering programs.
  • Experience in and/or understanding of working within a correctional environment.
  • Excellent computer program skills, such as Excel for data management.
About You

As an ideal candidate, you will possess a strong background in program coordination and facilitation, with experience working in a correctional environment. You will be able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including Prison staff, Vocational Services, and contracted program providers. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
