Event Coordinator Job Description

Randstad is partnering with a Geelong-based Government Client to fill a temporary Event Coordinator position on a 4-week assignment.

This role involves managing a range of events, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring smooth program delivery. You will work closely with stakeholders, including educators and local service providers, to ensure the effective operation of the Geelong Regional Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage events, including logistics, scheduling, and participant communication.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Support event-related project planning, including risk assessment and quality control.
  • Manage procurement processes and contract negotiations with suppliers.
  • Maintain event records and track performance against objectives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure participant satisfaction throughout the event life cycle.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in event coordination and stakeholder management.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan and execute multiple events.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement.

This role offers an hourly rate of up to $44 per hour + super, and an opportunity to progress your career within the Government sector.
