About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Remand Program Facilitator. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting, coordinating program scheduling, increasing participation and engagement in programs and services, and documenting attendance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and facilitating the delivery of the suite of Remand Programs, including ATLAS at the prison location, both individually and in conjunction with service delivery providers, including co-facilitation with stakeholders and partners.
  • Consulting and liaising with Prison staff, Vocational Services, and contracted program providers in relation to program delivery requirements, service linkage, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Monitoring program referrals to ensure adherence to the remand service delivery model.
About You

We are looking for an individual who possesses:

  • Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision, as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the issues and the diverse needs of the remanded male prisoner population.
  • Experience preparing, planning, and delivering programs.
  • Experience in and/or understanding of working within a correctional environment.
  • Excellent computer program skills, such as Excel for data management.
Qualifications

Expertise in programs and service delivery/coordination within a correctional environment is highly desirable.
