About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented People Coordinator to join our HR team. As a People Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR function and ensuring the smooth running of various HR activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining Employee Records
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, contracts, evaluations, and training records.
  • Supporting HR Administration
    • Assisting with various HR administrative tasks such as processing employee documentation, updating HR systems, and generating reports.
  • Providing Employee Relations Support
    • Acting as a point of contact for employee inquiries and offering guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters.
  • Coordinating Onboarding and Placement
    • Coordinating the onboarding and placement of graduates within different divisions of the company.
  • Monitoring and Supporting Graduate Development
    • Monitoring and supporting the development of graduates, ensuring smooth integration and progression within their respective teams.
  • Assisting with Benefits and Compensation
    • Responding to employee questions regarding benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave entitlements.
    • Collaborating with the HR team to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Coordinating Training and Development Activities
    • Assisting in the planning and execution of employee training programs and development initiatives.
  • Supporting HR Projects and Initiatives
    • Assisting with various HR projects, such as performance management, employee engagement programs, diversity inclusion initiatives, and policy implementation.
  • Ensuring Compliance and Policy Adherence
    • Ensuring compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong HR Knowledge
    • A solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws is essential.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with employees, managers, and HR teams.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills are important to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail
    • Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy in maintaining employee records and processing paperwork.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion
    • Demonstrating confidentiality, discretion, and maintaining the highest level of integrity is crucial.
  • Customer Service Skills
    • Providing excellent customer service to employees is essential.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in using HRIS software, MS Office applications (such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and other relevant HR tools is desirable.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration
    • The ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborate with colleagues, and build positive relationships is important in supporting HR initiatives and fostering a positive work environment.
