Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized HR Coordinator to join our team at Legal People. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting all aspects of our HR function, working closely with our People & Culture Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train, supervise, and mentor junior office administration and reception staff
  • Develop and implement firm processes and training manuals for administrative support and shared services functions
  • Deliver induction and training for administration and support staff
  • Coordinate learning and development programs
  • Coordinate the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program
  • Assist with coordinating administrative staff HR administration duties, such as coordinating recruitment interviews, drafting letters of offer, and creating HR files
  • Coordinate and assist with graduate and seasonal clerkship recruitment programs, induction, and training
  • Provide general administrative support for the HR Manager
  • Coordinate events and ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a legal assistant/administrator in a law firm with a genuine desire to work in HR
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical and MS Office skills (experience with Aderant, iManage, and/or DocAssist an advantage)
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Initiative and the ability to learn quickly
