Job Description:

  • We are seeking Support Workers who can provide individualized support to participants with complex care and personal needs.
  • You will work in Supported Independent Living (SIL) or SDA settings, assisting participants to develop life skills, participate in activities, and maintain their health and well-being.
  • Our Support Workers engage with participants as they shape and improve their lives, creating opportunities for personal growth and independence.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the disability sector, preferably with working with participants with complex needs.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to establish professional relationships with participants and their families.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record management, ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.
  • Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster, including overnight shifts, training, and meetings.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, NDIS Orientation, COVID Infection Control, NDIS Workers Screening, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and Open Driver's Licence.
