As a Disability Support Worker at Cocoon SDA Care, you will play a vital role in creating opportunities for participants to grow and become independent. Our team engages with participants to shape and improve their lives, fostering partnerships that inspire every individual to reach their full potential.

Job Description

  • We are looking for experienced staff who can assist in supporting participants with complex care, personal care, and high physical needs.
  • You will work in Supported Independent Living (SIL) or SDA settings to help provide participants with personal growth and independence.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years industry experience.
  • Clear and effective communication skills and ability to establish a professional relationship with participant and their families.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in the record management - Compliance and safety is our No.1
  • Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster and MUST be available to work overnight shifts or attend training or meetings as required.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary around $35-$40 per hour based on your experience and qualifications, plus benefits such as professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.

About You

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have demonstrated experience providing support to participants with high complex behavior and/or high medical and/or complex needs. You should also possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and flexibility to work in various settings.
