About the Role

RSM Australia is seeking a highly skilled Senior People and Culture Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in providing best practice HR advice and support to our employees and leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide coaching and guidance to internal client groups on all people and culture related matters.
  • Partner with leaders to develop and implement people and culture strategies that align with our business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislative frameworks and people and culture policies.
  • Manage conduct issues, employee grievances, investigations, performance management, redundancies, restructures, and other employee relations matters.
  • Develop and implement annual people and culture plans in consultation with key stakeholders.
  • Support the development of strategic workforce plans for client groups.
  • Partner with client groups to identify talent needs and develop targeted talent strategies, initiatives, and programs.
  • Manage workplace health and safety matters, return to work plans, and compliance with related legislation.
  • Support leaders in identifying trends and developing initiatives to improve employee engagement.
  • Maintain contemporary knowledge of relevant issues, trends, legislation, case law, and best practice.
  • Review and develop people and culture policies and processes.
  • Advise on independent contractor appointments.
  • Assist in the facilitation of cyclical activities such as remuneration reviews and talent management processes.
  • Conduct exit interviews for key and senior roles.
  • Lead and contribute to people and culture projects such as remuneration and benefits, wellbeing, and corporate social responsibility.
Requirements
  • Degree in business or human resources.
  • Understanding of Australian employment law.
Desirable Attributes

Experience in HR in a professional services or corporate environment, with experience in a HRBP type role.
