About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Patient Services Officer to join our team on a casual basis. As the first point of contact for patients, you will provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to clients and staff, ensuring a high level of professionalism and customer service.
  • Act as the first point of contact for patients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage patient records and filing, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Process relevant paperwork, including data entry and billing.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the clinic, liaising with the team to maintain efficient processes.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a medical industry setting, preferably in a patient-facing role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of patient billing systems and related Medicare mechanisms would be highly valued.
