We're seeking an enthusiastic and efficient Patient Services Officer to join our team in Calvary North Adelaide Hospital in a full-time position.

As a Patient Services Officer, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to clients and staff while remaining professional, caring and friendly in an ever-changing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Booking and confirming patients for appointments and consultations.
  • Billing and receipting at time of appointment.
  • Accurately processing relevant paperwork, including data entry.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the clinic.
  • Continuously liaising with the team to ensure efficient processes.
  • Managing patient records and filing of patient notes.

  • Have previous medical industry experience.
  • Are eager to learn new systems and applications for managing patient and doctor requests.
  • Can demonstrate ability to provide ongoing patient care and customer service.
  • Have strong communication skills.
  • Have previous experience working individually or as part of a team.
  • Possess knowledge of patient billing systems and related Medicare mechanisms.
  • Have exceptional phone manner and ability to handle a high volume of patient inquiries.
  • Have high attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
